Sean Duffy, a Fox Business host and former congressman, has been named by President-elect Donald Trump to head the Department of Transportation.
The second commentator selected for the upcoming cabinet is Duffy, one of Trump’s most outspoken supporters on cable news.
If approved, he will oversee the transportation department’s aviation, automobile, rail, transit, and other initiatives, with an annual budget of over $110 billion (£86 billion).
In a statement posted on Truth Social, Trump stated that Sean has been an excellent and popular public servant and that Duffy was “admired across the aisle.”
