Following his passing, the widow of former England rugby player Tom Voyce remarked, “absolutely devastated and heartbroken doesn’t even describe how we feel.”
It has been revealed that the 43-year-old’s body was discovered in a Northumberland region that flooded during Storm Darragh.
Police suspect the former England international attempted to cross Abberwick Ford, close to the village of Bolton, in a car that was subsequently dragged by the current. He was reported missing on Sunday.
“My main focus now is our son Oscar having done what he asked, ‘find Daddy’,” Anna Voyce stated in an homage to her husband.
Voyce, a wing that flew with the Wasps, announced Thursday that its Marine Unit had found a body close to Abberwick.
