A government school in Shah Faisal Town, Karachi, experienced vandalism Friday night when unidentified individuals damaged the structure because they didn’t like the school’s name, “Shaukat Khanum.”
Some others wrote “Shaukat Khanum na manzoor” (Shaukat Khanum not accepted) on the walls as a way to convey their displeasure.
According to the school administration, the destruction was caused by miscreants. After arriving on the site, police started looking into the incident.
Recently, the school received renovations that cost between Rs4 and Rs5 million.
