Award-winning musician claimed she was hit “multiple times” in the face by BB bullets.
According to Cara Dillon, the pellets were shot on Wednesday night near Frome, Somerset, from a passing car.
The musician from Northern Ireland claimed to be “really, really shocked” but otherwise fine.
She added that Avon and Somerset Police had been “great” in a post on news.
She asked people to “be aware” as well.
The 48-year-old’s voice has previously brought her several honors, including the news.
Avon and Somerset Police said, “Officers are looking into two reports of people being struck by a suspected BB gun pellet in Bath Street and Rodden Road in Frome.”
Fortunately, no one appears to have suffered major injuries or needed medical attention, and investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
