Boy shot dead by 10-year-old who lost bike race, his mom claims

A 10-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of shooting dead another child with his father’s gun in California, police have said. The victim’s mother says it happened after they had a bicycle race.On Saturday, at approximately 430 p.m. in a California suburb, Keith “KJ” Frierson was discovered bleeding from his head and neck. A ten-year-old child and his father were taken into custody by the police.According to KJ’s mother, Brittani Frierson, the boy suspect was acting like a “sore loser” following the race in Foothill Farms, which is roughly 16 miles northeast of Sacramento, and he targeted KJ. Shortly before neighbors pounded on her door, she had let KJ ride the bike, which she claims he “begged” to obtain for Christmas.
