In a rare video message, Bushra Bibi, the former first lady and wife of imprisoned PTI founder Imran, called on PTI supporters to participate in the much-anticipated demonstration on November 24 in Islamabad. She also accused Saudi Arabia of helping to topple the Imran Khan-led government in 2022.
Bushra claimed that the then-army chief Gen. (ret.) Qamar Javed Bajwa began receiving “their calls” when the former prime minister traveled to Madina “barefoot” in the video clip posted on PTI’s official X handle.
The former first lady claimed that Saudi authorities voiced their disapproval of Imran’s move, seemingly alluding to them.
“Who is this person you have brought with you? We don’t want such personalities,” she said, referring to Bajwa.
