Comer, R-Ky., is requesting data from Homeland Security, including intelligence reports, documents, and communications. Comer stated last month that his committee had begun a probe into the purported “longstanding” relationships.
News examined the subpoena that was sent to Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of DHS.
The committee was informed by a leaker that DHS employees had an unclassified Microsoft Teams group chat and that additional intelligence reports allegedly included information about Walz’s alleged CCP affiliations. As a result, the committee was served a subpoena.
