The first five months of the current fiscal year (FY25) have seen a spectacular 50% growth in Pakistan’s automobile market, with total sales reaching 38,534 units, up from 25,746 units during the same period last year.
The total performance is still outstanding even if November sales dropped significantly (25.08%) to 7,909 units from 10,557 in October.
Data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) indicates that November’s sales were notably lower at 4,875 units.
Despite a minor monthly drop in November, sales of jeeps, vans, and trucks have also demonstrated strong demand, with 12,259 units sold throughout the five-month period—an outstanding 55% rise over the prior year.
The inclusion of electric vehicles (EVs) in PAMA’s data is highlighted in the study.
