More than 1.8 million animals, including more than 0.6 million huge animals, entered the cattle markets in Punjab, while a maximum of 0.77 million animals were sold in the cattle markets in Lahore.
The local government department of Punjab released information from nine divisions. According to the municipality department’s dashboard, 1.812 million animals—0.612 large animals and 1.2 tiny animals—were brought to Punjab’s livestock markets.
The animals and traders in these marketplaces, according to the Municipal Secretary, had the best amenities.
Shakeel Ahmed Mian added that the district administration and local government had put strict measures against illegal sale locations in place to ensure a smooth and controlled trading environment.
