Jenny Boyd, his former sister-in-law, can still clearly remember having a conversation with the well-known guitarist.
He had previously accepted sobriety in the 1990s after trying to elude it.
“It was about giving over to a higher power knowing that, in the past, you probably tried to stop drinking, but you didn’t have the ability, you couldn’t control that,” the former model stated to News. “You have no control over it. Therefore, you must give it to them.”

Ian Wallace, the drummer, and Mick Fleetwood’s ex-wife have penned a new book titled “Icons of Rock: In Their Own Words.” It is based on discussions Boyd has about their music over the years with her rock star friends.
Boyd laughed, “I’ve been carrying these cassettes around for years.” “I have been keeping them safe. However, I also considered how modern music has changed. It has been a pleasure to relive these conversations and witness accounts. They, in my opinion, provide a fascinating window into the thoughts of these artists.”
