In response to a volunteer discovering the material, Katherine Fletcher, a South Ribble re-election candidate, stated that police are investigating the situation.
She declared that anyone attempting to “intimidate” her during the election “had picked the wrong person” in a combative post on the news.
She claimed, “Today the police are at my office because somebody has put excrement through the letterbox,” in a video that went with it.
“This morning, one of my volunteers had to locate that.
“Although I acknowledge that women often receive less attention in political settings, this attempt to intimidate me will not succeed since it is not.
Re-election campaigning won’t stop Ms. Fletcher, who has been the representative for the Lancashire area since 2019. She said she has “delivered loads” and wants “the opportunity to do more.”
She continued: “And so to the bully that did this: not the right person.”
“This is just a shameful thing and whoever did that, it is utterly shameful,” he said to News.
“I would like to see the same kind of energy generally from the public in terms of expressions of disgust for this kind of behaviour, whichever political party is impacted.”
