In August 2019, while Harry was riding a motorcycle, Anne Sacoolas drove her Volvo on the incorrect side of the B4031, striking the 19-year-old. That day, he passed away in the hospital.
In a video presented before the inquest into his brother’s death on Monday, Harry’s twin Niall Dunn described his brother as “an amazing person” who supported him during his difficult times.
“Growing up I found it more difficult than he did,” he stated. Some things that shouldn’t have been difficult turned out to be quite difficult, and I became very stressed out in some situations.
Harry was aware of this, though. He wouldn’t tell me either, and he would take care of it. He would just do it without telling me that he was being kind to me. To me, that just means everything.”
“You experience less happiness.”
Niall went on to say, “Beyond that, just a better person to just be forced to know, I couldn’t have asked for a better brother.” Being my twin, I had to grow up with him, yet I couldn’t have been more fortunate.
His absence has an everyday impact on us. You’re not as happy. Generally speaking, you just find less delight, frequently because he brought it with him, and that’s difficult—really difficult.
