Officers raided Combs’ residences in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) said in a statement that it “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”
It is understood by US partner network News that Combs had many phones taken from him in Miami prior to his scheduled departure for a trip to the Bahamas.
Federal agents in Manhattan have reportedly spoken with three women and one male regarding the sex-trafficking probe, as well as further claims of sexual assault, solicitation, and the distribution of illegal drugs and weapons.
News reached out to Combs’s representatives for comment, but they did not respond right away.
