RAWALPINDI: According to a senior leader, Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Thereek-e-Insaf (PTI), has instructed his party’s negotiation team to carry on with negotiations with the government.
The breakthrough occurred after a days-long pause in which the PTI negotiation team finally saw the former prime minister at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
“PTI founder has directed to continue the talks and has given permission to submit [party’s] both demands in writing to the government committee,” PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan told reporters outside the Adiala jail.
This comes as the former prime minister met with PTI leaders Barrister Gohar, Ali Zafar, and Sher Afzal Marwat in a courtroom at Rawalpindi’s Adiala facility.
