RAWALPINDI: Imran Khan’s counsel stated on Thursday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has made an offer to transfer him to Bani Gala, his home in Islamabad, where he would spend the remainder of his jail term.
“Imran Khan stated that he was given the opportunity to relocate to Bani Gala. But he emphasized that he would not relocate until those who are imprisoned without charge or trial are freed,” his attorney, Faisal Chaudhry, told reporters outside Adiala Prison.
According to a story published by The News last month, the government would think about providing the PTI founder home arrest as long as he refrains from questioning the current system and refrains from engaging in agitation-related politics.
