According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli military claimed to have attacked around 40 “terror targets” with airstrikes on the previous day.
According to the army, “underground launching posts, boobytrapped structures, observation posts, and rocket launchers” were among the objectives.
It stated that “numerous” fighters were also killed by the airstrikes and sniper fire, however exact numbers were not given.
Since Tuesday afternoon, Israel has killed at least 20 individuals, including four children in a house in the heart of Rafah.
