Chief Justice Yahya Afridi presided over a meeting of Pakistan’s Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) today to discuss changes to the SJC’s procedural rules and the judges’ code of conduct.
A committee led by Justice Munib Akhtar was established by Chief Justice Afridi to supervise the suggested changes.
While awaiting responses from the appropriate judges and officials on the other five, the council settled thirty of the thirty-six pending complaints.
