The sale of two operating oil tankers by the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), which resulted in large financial losses, has sparked another issue in Pakistan’s marine ministry following a land scam.
Sources claim that the ship “Lahore,” which was working under contract at a port in Iraq, was making $27,500 every day.
At a daily rate of about $12,000, “Quetta” was leased to refineries in Pakistan.
However, officials had to charter a different vessel in lieu of “Quetta.”
