According to reports, Mr. Murdoch sought to change a 1999 family trust so that his son Lachlan could assume leadership without “interference” from his siblings James, Elisabeth, and Prudence.
According to the News, a Nevada commissioner declared that Mr. Murdoch and Lachlan had behaved in “bad faith” and referred to the endeavors as a “carefully crafted charade”.
