According to reports, the authorities verified that during the violence in and around Rockford, Illinois, on February 1, 2020, four individuals died from their wounds and five more persons were injured.
Described as a “random and senseless act of violence,” Mayor Tom McNamara expressed profound sorrow over the incident. Carla Redd, the head of Winnebago County Police, was shocked.
