According to the military’s media wing, security forces killed five militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that two terrorists were injured during the operation, which was carried out in response to their reported presence.
The press release stated that “own troops effectively engaged khwarij [terrorists] location and resultantly, five khwarij were sent to hell, while two Khwarij also got injured” .
According to the statement, Pakistani security services are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the nation, so a sanitization operation was started to get rid of any further terrorists that might have been in the area.
