Senior leaders and hundreds of fighters from the Iran-backed organization have been killed in 10 months of cross-border combat between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, resulting in devastation and tens of thousands of displacement on both sides.
Since October, Hezbollah has lost more fighters to Israel than it did during its most recent conflict with Israel in the summer of 2006.
