An extension for the issuing of seasonal employment visas has been announced by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
According to media reports, the Ministry announced that holders of these visas can now enter the country for a 90-day first stay, following which they can choose to extend their stay for a another 90 days.
Selling seasonal work visas will result in a punishment of up to 50,000 riyals, according to the Ministry.
Businesses or groups engaged in such activities risk having their names removed from the Hajj and Umrah service directory for a maximum of five years.
