A new set of rules for student dress has been released by the University of Karachi, which highlights the significance of keeping one’s look on campus modest and courteous.
The students’ adviser, Dr. Nosheen Raza, sent the notice on January 14, 2025, outlining the dress code standards for the students.
The letter states that in order to show respect for the classroom, children must dress modestly and cleanly.
In particular, clothing deemed provocative, insulting, or distracting is prohibited by the standards.
This includes apparel with offensive language or designs, shorts, sleeveless or form-fitting styles, and anything that is revealing or see-through. Furthermore, wearing casual slippers.
