The chief justice is said to have ordered the business to be sealed, according to a video that went viral on Pakistani social media. However, this report has since been refuted.
A social media post on September 26 claimed that Crusteez was shut down as a result of the chief justice being “verbally abused” by an employee. This post received a lot of attention—more than 23,000 views and 300 likes. That being said, the reports that the store had closed were untrue; the picture of the “sealed” sign was actually shot on September 11.
Farhan Ahmed, an assistant commissioner in Islamabad, stated that there is no connection between the two occurrences.
He clarified that the chief justice’s interaction happened at the summertime Crusteez location at Blue Area, whereas the F6branch was sealed on September 11 due to violations of dengue prevention protocols.
