A 12-year-old housekeeper was allegedly tortured to death by her employers, authorities said, as kids bore the weight of working to meet their families’ necessities during a financial crisis, according to News.
According to local police, the awful occurrence took place in Village 84 South, a neighborhood of Sargodha, where Ayesha, the minor domestic worker, was engaged by a feudal named Jawad Bhatti.
According to police, Bhatti and his wife allegedly assaulted the youngster with iron rods and sticks.
Following the alleged murder, the suspects called Ayesha’s family members to notify them that their daughter had an accident in which she was injured.
When the family arrived, they discovered that the girl had been tortured and died. Furthermore, Bhatti has made a run for it along with his wife.
The police said that a murder case has been registered against the suspect, Jawad Bhatti, and his wife at the Laksian Police Station on the complaint of the house help’s father. A search is also underway to arrest the suspects.
