The Lahore chief traffic officer (CTO) has introduced a new policy, which is a significant step towards making things easier for people who failed their driving license exams.
In contrast to the previous waiting time of 42 days, candidates who fail the driving test will now have the chance to retake it after just 15 days.
According to CTO Amara Athar, “the unsuccessful candidates in the sign test already had access to this facility.”
According to her, the new facility is a component of the 1969 Punjab Motor Vehicle Rules Amendment, which was implemented to expedite the licensing procedure and save citizens significant time. She also mentioned that candidates who do not pass the sign and road tests can now retake them within 15 days.
