A letter of understanding (LoU) has been signed by the Aga Khan Foundation, the Pakistani government, and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination to work together on the livelihood security of those residing in rural Pakistan, including the coastal regions of Sindh and the rural areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Aisha Humera Chaudhry, Secretary of the Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan; Amin Feerasta, Chairman of the National Committee AKF; Akhtar Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of AKF; Laila Naz Taj, Director, Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Pakistan Communications; Irshad Khan Abbasi, Program Advisor, Rural Development, Civil Society and Habitat; and Naveed Sethi, Chief Financial Officer, AKF were among the high-ranking officials who attended the signing ceremony.
