Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Investment Minister of Saudi Arabia, spoke optimistically during the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum in Islamabad about the growing economic ties between his country and Pakistan. He stated that the trade delegation talks between the two nations continued to be productive.
Al-Falih emphasized that the agreements made during the conferences have legal force behind them, indicating robust safeguards for foreign direct investment in Pakistan. In order to provide opportunities for private investment while reducing risks, he continued, the emphasis is on encouraging private sector involvement within a government-to-government structure.
Conversely, the Saudi delegation was briefed by Minister of Investment, Communications, and Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan of the plethora of investment potential in Pakistan.
