In Karachi’s Orangi Town, a furious crowd lynched a man they believed to be a robber.
House Officer (SHO) Jamal Leghari of Orangi Town Station reports that Arsalan, a citizen, was robbed while he was occupied making a purchase at a milk business.
Arsalan allegedly had a motorcycle and a cell phone taken by the two suspects.
When the suspects were escaping the scene of the heist, a sizable group of neighboring residents also arrived.
The angry mob pursued the robbers, and one of the suspects was apprehended.
He was immediately killed by the mob’s beatings.
When a patrolling police party arrived and prevented the other suspect from being set on fire by the agitated mob, SHO Leghari stated.
