Under the direction of Sir David Attenborough, Secret World Of Sound sheds light on the sounds of nature that are sometimes disregarded but are essential to many species’ existence since they must make life-or-death decisions every day.
The well-known naturalist and presenter uses state-of-the-art gear to record noises from nature, Secret World Of Sound, which explores how animals perceive and make sound. Some of the noises are captured on video for the first time.
Sharmila Choudhury, the series producer of Attenborough’s longtime partner, said to The Climate Show: “David keeps us on our toes.” He has very high standards. And that is advantageous.
“I believe he still puts in more effort than the majority of us, working seven days a week. Attenborough found himself lying on the wet ground, hoping that the small bird would appear, after he committed to joining the crew for filming in the Wye Valley near Monmouth to record the song of a wild dipper.
He had not long to wait, genuinely at one with nature.
