Kyle Clifford, 26, was recovered in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday following a protracted manhunt. His older brother, Bradley Clifford, 30, is also named Kyle.
Bradley Clifford was given a life sentence at the Old Bailey six years prior for the 2017 murder of an eighteen-year-old who had broken a bottle on his “prized” red Mustang.
Jahshua Francis, 19, was riding a scooter when Bradley Clifford crashed into him and his 18-year-old pillion companion, Sobhan Khan.
Driving on the wrong side of the road and almost double the speed limit, he recklessly pursued their motorcycle through Enfield while intoxicated.
He smacked the two teenagers, sending them flying into the air. Mr. Khan suffered severe injuries, but Mr. Francis was spared significant harm due to “pure chance”.
As he lay on the roadway, Bradley Clifford carried out his assault in a “intense rage,” striking him hard nine times, according to what the Old Bailey heard.
In a WhatsApp chat to his girlfriend prior to the murder, Bradley Clifford promised to “rain hell” and put a knife down the throats of anyone who tampered with his Mustang.
He was convicted of killing Mr. Khan and trying to intentionally cause Mr. Francis great bodily harm.
