ISLAMABAD: Barrister Gohar, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that some people are trying to sow discord and deepen the gap between his party and the establishment.
Barrister Gohar disclosed during his appearance on News’ “Capital Talk” show on Thursday that he and Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recently met with Army Chief General Asim Munir in Peshawar.
But according to the PTI chairman, the meeting’s only goal was upholding law and order. He restated that some people are trying to cause friction between the establishment and the PTI.
Gohar made a U-turn just hours before going on the talk show, claiming that he had been with General Munir.
