Chip said that “story is the glue that holds this whole operation together” when discussing their show and future shows on their Magnolia Network at the couple’s recent appearance at Paley Fest in New York.
In order to keep their image grounded, Chip and Joanna Gaines have done a great job of coordinating with networks, companies, brands, and partners. Additionally beneficial is the fact that their hobbies, interests, and skills are inherently healthy and naturally focused on the family and the home environment. Red Banyan’s senior director, Kara Schmiemann, stated it.
“Some of this may be coincidental, and some may be strategic,” she added. However, unless it is at least somewhat true of who you are at your heart, you cannot pretend to be the warmth, friendliness, and openness that come from being a decent person with family values and related hobbies for ten years.”
