Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, has made increasing the quality of education her main priority and has set a goal of enrolling two million children in schools each year.
She pledged to eradicate the practice of paying teachers without teaching.
The Punjabi government has made the decision to implement the CM Education Card, which would award students who get a score of more than 80% with a CM Eminence/Star Card.
There will also be a School of Eminence in every tehsil in the province.
