A technical issue forced a Boeing jet from Dhaka to Baku to make an emergency landing at Jinnah International Karachi Airport on Friday.
The aircraft had a technical issue when flying across Indian airspace while it was traveling from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
According to aviation sources, the plane experienced a mechanical malfunction while in Indian airspace. The pilot requested permission to land by contacting the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in Karachi.
It stated, “The cargo plane is present at Karachi Airport; the plane is undergoing inspection.”
