LAHORE: After accepting Gary Kirsten’s resignation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) named Jason Gillespie as the team’s white-ball head coach for the tour of Australia.
The Green Shirts’ red-ball head coach, Gillespie, will go with the team to the Kangaroos for their forthcoming ODI and T20I series, which is scheduled to start on November 4.
Following three ODIs and T20Is each against the Kangaroos, the national team will play a series against Zimbabwe consisting of the same amount of games.
After disagreements arose between him and the PCB over a number of issues, Kirsten left, and Gillespie took over.
It should be mentioned that in April, Kirsten and Gillespie were hired to two-year contracts as white and red-ball coaches, respectively.
