Karachi: Data on its official website indicates that during the past five years, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has disbursed around Rs1.07 billion to several national sports federations and associations.
The information shows that the money was disbursed through annual grants, special allocations, and orders from the prime minister and president to promote the growth of sports throughout Pakistan. The data spans the years 2019–2020 fiscal year through 2023–2024.
The Pakistan Volleyball Federation is the largest beneficiary of the financing, having received a total of Rs115.5 million over the course of the five-year term. One significant allocation of Rs100 million for the fiscal year 2023–2024 is part of this funding.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) was next in line, getting Rs103.65 million in the same period.
