The Motorway Police discovered a family from Lahore on the highway in a semi-conscious state; four of them tragically died, and one is still critically ill.
During a regular patrol, the Motorway Police found five people in a semi-conscious state inside a car. They were taken right away to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Bhera.
Four members of the family, Romila, 60, Mehwish, 30, Samar, 28, and 4-year-old Aoun, died while receiving treatment, despite efforts to save them. Umar Qasim, age thirty, is the fifth member who is still receiving medical attention.
All five of the people involved in the event were members of the same family and were traveling from Lahore to Islamabad, according to a Motorway Police spokesman.
