ISLAMABAD All three of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) most popular verified and official social media accounts, ImranKhan, Tehreek-e-Insaf, and PTIOfficial, are owned by the jailed founder party chairman Imran Khan and are being operated from overseas under Khan’s direction via his sister Aleema Khan.
According to an official investigation into the PTI’s social media accounts, which are accused of being used for aggressive campaigns and to target the army and army chief General Asim Munir, these accounts are operated from overseas by individuals Imran authorized.
Since Imran Khan is accused of distributing anti-army and anti-state information, he would be directly affected in any criminal proceedings based on the government’s investigation.
