As part of a new enforcement effort, the Excise Department has started to crack down on cars with tinted windows and unregistered vehicles in Islamabad, levying steep fines.
According to the government, unregistered vehicles will pay fines beginning at Rs15,000, while cars with tinted windows would pay fines between Rs5,000 and Rs10,000. The objective of this effort is to guarantee adherence to traffic regulations and improve road safety.
According to officials, all parts of the capital will be targeted by the enforcement effort, with high-traffic locations receiving special attention.
The campaign is a component of larger initiatives to enhance traffic enforcement and deal with registration and modification-related issues.
