The Jewellers’ Association reports that the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs700 a tola on Sunday, from Rs276,700 the previous day to Rs276,000.
Furthermore, 10 grams of 24-carat gold cost Rs601 less than the day before, when it was valued at Rs236,625 instead of Rs237,226.
In the meantime, 10 grams of 22-carat gold cost Rs216,907 instead of Rs217,456.
Similarly, the price of silver did not change; a ton of silver was for Rs3,050, and ten kilos was worth Rs2,614.88.
Gold saw a minor decrease in price on the global market as well, going from $2,663 to $2,657, a drop of $6.
