Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s deputy prime minister, declared on Monday that his country is prepared to negotiate trade with India.
Speaking only on TV, Dar stated: “It is good that Pakistan is hosting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SIC) moot. It was reported that Pakistan was facing international isolation on the diplomatic front.
“Every time we try to become the economic leader, there are attempts to bring the nation down to a dead end,” he bemoaned. In relation to the economy, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission ought to be established.
“How did the economy that was ranked on the 24th number get to the 47th number?” Dar questioned.
“We are not in a hurry to go for the constitutional amendment,” Dar stated in reference to the proposed amendment.
