Kim Kardashian debuted her Balenciaga collection the day after she received harsh criticism for her collaboration with the company.
The reality TV personality was named as the fashion house’s new brand ambassador, and she made the announcement on social media.
Due to Balenciaga’s 2022 incident with forcing minors to appear with BDSM-themed objects for a campaign, the cooperation was met with outrage.
Kim said she was “shaken and disgusted” by the advertising, but she declined to leave the label at the time of the issue.
On Tuesday, though, she uploaded a carousel of three images to her Instagram account showcasing her haul of handbags from the firm.
She captioned the photo, “Balenciaga #closetcampaign @inezandvanoodt,”
Kim took guesses about how many purses she owns while posing with her collection inside her $60 million California estate. She was wearing a black strapless corset, skintight leggings, and boots.
The SKIMS mogul remarked, “My guess will be 130,” and proceeded to count the handbags, rounding to a total of 129. “I was an anomaly only.” “Guys, I won!” she yelled.
