During the opening ceremony of a field hospital in Lahore, the chief minister expressed that it was an ideal to offer healthcare services to individuals right at their doorstep. “I commend everyone who contributed to the field hospitals project’s accomplishment. All of the amenities of a clinic are available at a field hospital,” she declared.
She went on to say that in addition to first aid, immunizations, and outpatient department services, the field hospital will also have access to female health personnel. In addition to radiography, ultrasound, ECG, X-ray machines, a pharmacy, and maternity and child health services, surgery is also accessible in an emergency.
Maryam Nawaz stated that sophisticated pharmaceutical storage will be implemented in Punjab and that the government of the province will offer health services to the underprivileged. She went on to say that the health card program was initiated and successfully managed by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. She noted that while hospitals with ten beds each were constructed for this reason, patients were previously given preference based on referrals using health cards.
The CM added that a state-of-the-art cancer hospital would be constructed in Pakistan and would open its doors in a year. She added that modern hospitals are being developed in all of Punjab’s districts and that work on the cancer hospital is ongoing day and night.
