After receiving a shocking cancer diagnosis, James Van Der Beek is expressing gratitude to his loved ones for their “unconditional love” this Thanksgiving.
The 47-year-old actor shared an emotional message and a heartwarming photo of himself with his wife and kids on his Instagram account on Thursday.
James thanked his “super human” wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, and their kids in the caption of the photo for keeping him “present, active, and inspired.”
“This year has been difficult… and I’m grateful for everything. He opened the long note by saying, “For the giant life re-direct cancer has placed in my path.”
“For the gift of knowing what it feels like to have friends come through on such a profound level,” the Dawson’s Creek star added.
