The incarcerated hip-hop entrepreneur is accused in a second new complaint of attacking a 17-year-old potential contestant on the reality TV show Making the Band in 2008.
They are the most recent in a string of lawsuits filed by claimants who claim Combs sexually abused them during meetings and parties during the past 20 years.
The attorneys for Combs refuted the two fresh allegations and charged Anthony Buzbee, the plaintiffs’ attorney, with publicity-seeking. Mr. Buzbee claims to have filed at least 17 cases and to be representing over 150 of the rapper’s purported victims.
According to an emailed statement, Mr. Combs and his legal team are completely confident in the facts and the fairness of the court system. “The truth will win out in court: Mr. Combs never sexually abused or trafficked any anybody, adult or child, male or female.
Following his arrest on September 16, Combs entered a not guilty plea to federal sex trafficking allegations included in an unsealed indictment, and he is currently incarcerated in New York City.
