Last Saturday, a wrestling match at a high school in New Jersey descended into violence as parents got into fights in the stands.
Social media users have been sharing footage of the wrestling competition at Phillipsburg High School in Lopatcong Township, New Jersey, a municipality in Warren County, since parents started fighting at the conclusion of a match.
It was said in the video’s report that it was a middle school match.
The altercation began in the background and was filmed on camera for a YouTube video that focused on two other wrestlers. One man wearing a black hoodie shoved another man wearing a white T-shirt and hat.
When both males got into their own wrestling bout and other parents started to get involved, things quickly got ugly.
More parents started to pour down from the stands, and more parents joined in, hitting the ground.
An in-depth look at the incident is provided in the social media video that has gone viral.
A few parents were keeping one another at bay.
Referees intervened to break up the fight between young Anderson Diaz and Alexander Finklestein.
It’s not clear if anyone was arrested or injured.
