The country is currently experiencing a severe cold wave, particularly in the capital city of Islamabad, prompting the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) to issue a warning.
Yesterday’s high temperature in Islamabad made the already cold conditions even worse.
In light of the possibility of frost, authorities have recommended farmers to schedule their operations in accordance with the weather forecast.
Long periods of time spent outside in windy, chilly weather are advised to be avoided in the morning and evening. Tourists and visitors to mountainous regions should also use caution during this time.
According to the forecast, Pakistan’s upper areas will experience extreme cold, with temperatures in many northern districts predicted to go well below zero. Islamabad, the Potohar region, and other areas may see frost in the morning.
