Along with the announcement of the new Galaxy Watch Ultra, the South Korean business also unveiled the Galaxy Ring on Tuesday as part of its most recent wearable technology.
The £400 ring is expected to go on sale later this month. According to the company, it will have a battery life of up to seven days and be worn around-the-clock to allow users to keep an eye on their health statistics both during the day and while they sleep.
The ring, which is available in nine sizes and three colors—black, silver, and gold—uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze biometric information obtained from the wearer and connects it.
Then, like a virtual fitness coach, it may evaluate a person’s well-being, provide a “energy score” that runs from one to hundred, and offer recommendations.
Apart from fitness, Samsung claims that users can pinch their fingers to capture pictures or snooze alarm clocks.
